Well, that was depressing. I had a friend who piloted the DC-10F for Gemini back in the day. And I've been to that boneyard. We were on a family vacation a couple of years ago, driving into Roswell to see the UFO museum. Imagine my surprise when I suddenly saw 747 tails sticking up above the treeline. We did the museum, but then went back and drove around the edge of the boneyard. You could get really close to some of them. Paul Thompson had a Flight Club article a few months ago showing the destruction of this Saudi 747 that I photographed.

Bucket list for sure. I could walk around this or AMARG until my eyeballs dried up.
